A green smoothie is an extremely healthy drink that consists of leafy vegetables (spinach in my case) and fruits. One that adheres to a healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition, include this miracle drink in the menu, as with regular use, your body is cleansed and generally healed!

Ingredients for Green Smoothie

1 cup baby spinach

1 very ripe banana

1 medium orange

1/2 cup frozen mango

1/2 cup frozen pineapple

1/3 cup chopped cucumber

1 Tbsp hemp seeds

1 Tbsp peanut butter

1/2 cup plant-based milk (soy, poppy, sesame, almond, cashew). I used my Homemade Almond milk

1/2 cup filtered water

Ice cubes

Blend everything in a blender and your Green Smoothie is ready to enjoy!

Spinach may help prevent various heart diseases. It doesn’t have a strong grassy taste compared to kale, for example. So, you will not taste it in your green smoothie.

Peanut Butter is not only yummy but it is very healthy indeed. It contains many vitamins, minerals, plant compounds, and antioxidants. Peanuts and peanut butter are one of the top sources of arginine, a type of amino acid involved in protein synthesis. A 2010 study suggests that the arginine content of nuts may boost fat–burning in the body.

As for water: do not forget to drink it in its pure form, 1.5-2 liters per day 😊

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 very ripe banana

Notes

  1. Use kale in place of spinach.
  2. Use chia seeds or flax if you don’t have hemp seeds.
  3. Soya milk works as well. Or omit the milk and only use water.
