Guilt-Free Air Fryer French Fries Recipe

- 2,2 lb russet potatoes 1 kg
- 1/2 Tbsp avocado oil
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- Salt & pepper to taste
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut the potatoes into fries. With a sharp knife, carefully slice each potato lengthwise into even-sized fries. Aim for a thickness of about 1/4 to 1/2 inch (0.6 to 1.3 cm).
Optional. To remove excess starch and achieve a crispier texture, you can soak the potato fries in cold water for about 15-30 minutes. After soaking, rinse them well and pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
Season the fries and drizzle with avocado oil.
Preheat your air fryer to 365°F (185°C). Carefully place the seasoned potato fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; you may need to cook the fries in batches for the best results.
Cook French Fries for 16-17 minutes, depending on your desired level of crispiness. Remember to flip or shake the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
Once your French Fries are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the basket. Serve your guilt-free French Fries hot and enjoy!
